QuickZip Sheet Set Review

(More customer reviews)Was thrilled with the idea at first, but not with the sheets. The description says they will fit matresses 5.5-7 inches deep. That is a bit of a problem, because there will be loose fabric unless your mattress is 7". But wait, there is more - they shrink!!! And I believe by more than the 3% stated on the company website. (BTW, the product description on Amazon says "preshrunk"). My mattress is Baby Luxe Organic (6 inches deep) and I breathed a sigh of release when I found out the sheets shrunk after washing in warm water and drying in low heat. So now the sheets fit around the mattress (they were loose around it too), but I still need to use a thick mattress pad for a better fit in depth, which I was not planning to get. Since these are bedding items, and also I washed them, the sheets cannot be returned. Basically, changing will be easy with these sheets, but a good fit is a crap shoot. I also HATE the embellishment around the sheet (about 1 inch fabric with absolutely no practical purpose), since the top sheet shrunk by more than the bottom, and so the embellishment, instead of being at the corners of the crib, is inside.
If you must buy, proceed with caution. And be prepared to fiddle with bedding items until you get them to behave.
The only reason why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because they are 200 count 100% cotton sheets, and most crib sheets out there don't even state the thread count (and seem to hide a small polyester content in the back of the package).

(More customer reviews)Baby seems to like this sheet a lot...It's very soft and fluffy and probably feels nicer and quieter on top of his plastic-coated mattress. He tends to reach his hands out and close his fingers against the sheets when he's trying to settle down and he does this less often when he's on the fluffy sheet, as if it feels good and calms him down. I think it also keeps him warmer because the fluff traps more heat....very useful in his room because it changes temperatures rapidly. I do recommend this item!

Usually, I write Good Things and Bad Things, but I have no complaints - so this time, only Good Things!
Good Things:
1) Easy to get on and off.
2) Soft cotton top over waterproof bottom.
3) You can put your 'cute' sheets underneath, and really never have to change them, because they never get dirty. So you only need 1 set of pricey sheets if looks are your concern.
4) What else do you need out of a crib sheet? :)

Someone makes those as well. I'm sure you can find them, they are always listed! If you are interested in the homemade dr. seuss bibs, burping cloths, and security blankets, the email for the girl that did mine is [...] She uses all different sorts of fabrics. However, I bought them with the impression that they were black and white. They are not! They are a darker green with slight shade variation (as seen in the picture). If this is the color you are hoping for, wonderful!
