(More customer reviews)I purchased the mattress, put it on top of my box springs, after about a week I started to sink into the middle, left negative feedback to the seller which he responded to , he ask me what I had it sitting on, I have it on box springs, box springs wont work. I got a couple 30 x80 inch pieces of plywood slid between mattress and box springs, that made all the difference in the world. you can't use just box springs, you will sink into the middle and have to pull your self out in the morning. seller was helpful in resolving problem. I am content with it now. it performs like it did when it was new. be sure to put a piece of plywood between box springs and mattress.

(More customer reviews)We just received our new mattress three days ago. I was a bit skeptical because I was buying a mattress over the internet that I'd never even felt. I was even more skeptical when I saw the thin rolled up mattress waiting on the patio when I got home from work. But as soon as we got it into our bedroom and peeled the many layers of plastic wrap off, it immediately began to "puff up" and look more like a regular mattress. I was expecting to smell the horrible scent many of the other reviewers were experiencing, but there was none. Maybe the manufacturers have finally caught on and pre-aired the mattreses? At any rate, I patiently waited 48 hrs before I tried the mattress out even though I'm sure it was ready the next day. The mattress felt very firm compared to our old one but you could immediatel feel it conforming to your body. I must have fallen asleep immediately, which is something that rarely ever happens except when I'm really exhausted. I woke up almost 9 hours later completely rested and I was in the same position I was in when I fell asleep. I don't know that I didn't switch positions throughout the night, but there was definitely none of my usual flip-flopping. There was no back pain of any kind. I usually experince a bit of stiffness and acheyness... but there was nothing. I'll definitely be recommending this mattress to those I know shopping around for a new mattress. And as soon as we get moved into our new home, we'll be buying another one for the guest room. I just hope they don't get too comfortable that they'll never want to leave.

(More customer reviews)I received this set 3 days ago and I've never slept as comfortable as I did this past 2 nights! There are some pros and cons tho in buying this memory foam:
1) The set arrived in a box and the foam was wrapped in plastic to keep it from 'inflating'. I suggest you open the box, remove the plastic wrap and allow the foam to 'breathe' right away so you can use it after 3-5 hours. That will remove the bad odor of the foam and have it to its real size.
2) The memory foam mattress pad was amazing. It made my semi-sunken at the middle mattress so soft and almost flat. Plus my shoulders and neck does not hurt as much anymore when I sleep on my side.
3) The pad was a little small than I expected tho. I purchased the full size pad and it is about 4- 6 inches less in width and 5-8 inches less in length compared to my full sized mattress.
4) I have to admit, the 2 pillows suck. As I quote my boyfriend, they are like pancakes that can easily get squished to flatness. So if you have the option to get the same mattress pad without the 2 pillows for a cheaper price, go get it.
Just sharing my rants and raves for this product. I hope this will help you decide.

(More customer reviews)I read reviews for the same sleepshop mattress without the dual air flow. This one has two eggcrate pieces of foam to form the base. Not sure if it makes much difference but I heard the Tempurpedic design is similar and for 3 bucks more I figured what the heck. It has a mattress cover which can be unzipped and washed. I have never slept on a memory foam mattress but I must say that I like it alot. When you first lie down on the mattress it feels a bit firm but when the foam begins to conform that is when it feels great giving even support throughout your body. If you move a lot during sleep it takes getting used to the bumps caused by your former position until the foam comforms to your new position. There is a chemical smell but it needs some time to air out. I dont feel it is that noticeable unless I stick my face in the mattress. Shipping was good. It came by Fedex and I received a tracking number. Ordered it on 7/9 and received it on 7/14. I cannot imagine a tempurpedic being that much better especially with a 1500 dollar increase in price.
