The only problem is that it is not quite long enough all the way around for a queen bed....it probably would fit a "full" bed perfectly. I should have orderd a king size.

The linen color on the Macy's site looked quite brownish and, I am hoping it is more like the ivory image represented on Amazon. Decided to cancel it but could not do so even after only one house, so will have to spend the time and money to send it back if it is too brown. Would like to know if it is as the photo on Amazon or on Macy's website. $40 is a big difference, too.

However, I decided to try it since it was included in the picture of the fully made bed on the Macy's site. I'm so glad I did! It really makes the whole bed and is rediculously soft and comfortable. Worth every penny!

It reverses to plaid of blue, pink, and predominantly green. If you like green, you'll like the reverse side. It is medium weight. It is 100% cotton. I just washed my queen size quilt and shams in my regular home washer and dryer, and they turned out beautifully. I love old fashioned floral prints, and I love this set. It is very reasonably priced for what you get.

(More customer reviews)The bedspread is as pretty as pictured, but my King bed is so big and high off the ground the bedspread fits like a comforter. It does not come with a dust ruffle so I added one to the bed. I don't know how it will clean since the rose appliques are loosely placed, on purpose I suppose, to make the 3D effect. And it is white in color. The material is soft but it is wrinkled right out of the package, so it needs to be steamed. All in all, the bedspread is worth the price and it was shipped quickly from CA to PA by FedEx.
