Eddie Bauer Musical Mobile Little Builder Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this mobile to match the geeny constructor bedding set I wanted for my son's room. He really loved this mobile from about one week old and up - the only problem is, it's his favorite thing - pretty much one of the only things that comforts him when he's not feeling well and makes him smile and feel entertained enough for us to get something done. He is now 6 weeks old and I had to purchase a different, battery powered mobile because we are so tired of going back into his room every few minutes to wind the mobile back up. The music from this wind up mobile isn't as soothing as the battery operated ones either... It also doesn't fit our crib as well as the Fisher Price mobile I just purchased. I still think the eddie bauer mobile is cute and matches his room nicely, but for use and practicality - and the same price - I would recommend purchasing a battery powered mobile over this one. There are some cute ones out there.

(More customer reviews)I got this mobile to go with my black and white damask nursery theme. It fit the bill perfectly! Black and white (and red) are known to visually stimulate baby's eye development, and they are a very appealing contrast as well to grown ups. I wanted more of a classic and sophisticated theme in my nursery so black and white damask was what I went for. I essentially killed two birds with one stone with this mobile. Good for baby, good for mommy. :)
It is of a very sturdy structure, and high enough up to be outta the baby's reach, yet close enough to be seen by her when her eyesight starts getting stronger.
I personally LOVE it, and I'm also in love with the teddy bears. I might, however, replace the yellow ribbons bows around their necks with black ones to further add to the black and white scheme. I will have to sew them on of course. Otherwise they would be dangerous choking hazards.
This mobile was WELL WORTH the money!!!

I was concerned about getting a mobile that would be too stimulating and so opted not to purchase the Symphony in Motion mobile (despite getting many recommendations for it). This mobile seems perfect - nice music (classical, four options - even the nature sounds have classical music); the mobile spins but is not too complicated to over-stimulate; small night light allows baby to see mobile faintly at night; can have the mobile work without the music; and the mobile can be removed from the music box, which can remain on the crib as long as you want. Overall, a great purchase.

(More customer reviews)I was so excited to find a mobile that matched the theme of the nursery. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only states that it "fits most cribs." The piece that attaches to the crib is non-adjustable and there is no measurement given to check if it will fit before you order. It did not fit our crib and really wished it had because it is adorable! Despite not being able to use the mobile, the company that shipped the product, "Serendipity Shopper" was great. I wrote an email explaining my disappointment and received a response immediately. They accepted the return without question and were apologetic about not being able to have more precise product information.

Southern Living Zootopia Mobile, Green/White Review

(More customer reviews)The mobile is very cute and great for our gender-neutral nursery. We bought it to match the Zootopia bedding set. The music box winds up and requires no batteries. There is a switch to shut it off when you wish, but it is under a cloth cover and not easy to access until you get used to it. The mobile plays 'Mary had a Little Lamb' not 'Brahms Lullaby' as stated in some descriptions. The biggest drawback is the big (4") white bolt for attaching it to the crib. It is absent in any photos you will find of the product but there is no way to hide it at home.

Eddie Bauer Enchanted Hollow Window Valance - Brown Review

(More customer reviews)I selected this nursery theme because we wanted to celebrate nature/animals without the ever-so-popular jungle/safari/rainforests. I'm just not into monkeys all that much. There are only a few forest themes to be found and this is by far the most adorable (the owl faces in the Lambs and Ivy set seemed scary to me.)
This valance has several textures- linen, quilted, corduroy/chenille, and velvet. The textures add so much to the product and you can't tell this from the picture. I was also surprised at how long each valance is (only one comes in a pack- I bought two). So much nicer in person than expected.
Bottom line- these animals are cute and sweet, with just enough contrast for visual stimulation, and muted/soft enough to be tranquil. So glad to have found this set! Perfect for a boy, but if you add enough female touches to the room, a little girl would love it (the dots help)!
Painting the Nursery:
The colors include several shades of brown, green, tan, and the fox has a muted red tail. We went to Sherwin-Williams for paint (Harmony and Duration lines have the least VOCs with the the best quality reviews. We haven't painted yet- but as research goes, it's the best for nurseries without spending a crazy a amount of money for boutique nursery paint).
Paint Color Suggestions:
-For a sky blue we chose Tibetan Sky
(a lighter shade of the blue in this set)
-For greens we chose Great Green and Leapfrog
(Leapfrog matches the wall decals for this set perfectly),
-For tree browns we chose Grounded and Java
(Java matches the tree branch in the decals),
-For white clouds we chose Westhighland White
After primer (1 gallon), 2 gallons color, 4 quarts (room size 10 x 11) our cost was at $120. You can get 10% off by becoming a preferred customer (which is free to do).
