I was concerned about getting a mobile that would be too stimulating and so opted not to purchase the Symphony in Motion mobile (despite getting many recommendations for it). This mobile seems perfect - nice music (classical, four options - even the nature sounds have classical music); the mobile spins but is not too complicated to over-stimulate; small night light allows baby to see mobile faintly at night; can have the mobile work without the music; and the mobile can be removed from the music box, which can remain on the crib as long as you want. Overall, a great purchase.
