(More customer reviews)Just received mine today. The tag on the comforter states minimum 75% down. That leaves 25% FEATHERS. What a disappointment to discover this after reading the product description carefully BEFORE I made my purchase.
If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. This comforter proves the rule.
FEATHER/down combination comforters do NOT maintain their loft--they tend to flatten out after minimal use. They also do not have the same luxury feel as 100% down.
Feathers in the comforters make noise. I tried one of the feather and down combination comforters on our bed and my husband who NEVER notices anything asked why the comforter was making noise! Down is silent when you roll over or adjust the covers.
The outer covering on this comforter is nice at 410 thread count.
This is just another warm blanket, not a luxury down comforter. The label on the comforter package clearly states: BASIC BEDDING.
The less expensive down and feather combination comforters sold on amazon have the SAME fill, so unless you want the 410 thread count cover on a feather/down combination comforter, save your money and buy the less expensive product.
I will be returning this product and searching for a 100% down comforter. We've had the real thing for years and the feather/down combination comforters just don't measure up.

One of the pillow covers did develop a couple small holes after the first wash, but I believe that to be my error and not the fabric as none of the other piece has shown the same thing, and the holes havent gotten any bigger in recent washes. They look great on my bachelor bed, had wanted them to be a bit softer.

So this product arrived yesterday. My wife was thoroughly disappointed, since its really thin. It is not fat and fluffy as you'd imagine given the boastful claims of the advertisment. Is it warm? Yes it is. Is there such a thing as a "Siberian goose"? Yes. Are there Siberian goose feathers are in this comforter? NO. Read this article. [...]
I'm inclined to believe it. This comforter is probably made in a sweatshop in China somewhere and I wonder what the fill is actually made of.
Does it do a decent job of keeping you warm for the price you've paid? Yes. Am I gonna return it? No. Too much hassle and shipment cost for a $100 comforter. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? NO!!
Lesson learned about buying bedding online.
Someone else has also mentioned in a review for the same product but for a different size that its available on eBay for cheaper.
Knocking it down to 3 stars for all the lies and misleading marketing.

It is warm, but not too warm. It is perfect. The baffle-box construction keeps the feathers in their sections, so they're not piled up on one side of the comforter, like in the cheaper down comforters. I am planning on buying another one for my daughter! This comforter is well worth the money. Do yourselves a favor and make sure to purchase a good duvet cover to keep the comforter clean. You should never ever wash a down comforter in the washing machine, so the duvet keeps the comforter clean in between dry cleanings (recommended every 3-5 years).

It's perfect if you are looking for something that's not a big, fluffy, heavy down comforter. And there is NO SMELL whatsoever to the fill! The only thing you might notice is that it makes a soft "crinkly" sound when you move it around (similar to the sound of a rubberized raincoat...)

I read the description of this product and thought the price was excellent. 1200 Thread count caught my eye, instantly(as I'm sure they wanted it to.) When this product came in, I was a bit skeptical. The package was very light and small(for the kingsize model I purchased). However....when I unwrapped this comforter and slept under it the first night.... I was in heaven. Ive never owned a Goose Down comforter, but this is very nice and warm. I live in Seattle and we had a week of 20 degree nights this winter. This item did it's job and more. I highly recommended this to anyone thinking of buying this comforter. I would suggest buying a duvet?(hope I spelled it right)

It is literally "light as a feather" so it's like sleeping under a cloud. It's thin and very light-weight, but incredibly warm and delicious to snuggle into. The baffle construction keeps the down in place so there are no "cold spots." I put it in a duvet cover and that, along with a light blanket, is enough to keep me toasty warm at night (I keep my house very cool - sometimes as low as 50 degrees - and it's wonderfully cozy under the comforter).
