I am happy with this product. The patten looks pretty and the cotton is very soft. Cannot complain more. Had it washed twice and it is still very good.

Mix and match the duvet with Pinzon flannel, yarn-dyed flannel, and velvet sheets and accessories for a layered look with an ultra-soft feel. Fabric Definition Flannel: Flannel fabrics are noted for their fuzzy softness, warmth, and durability, and they can be dyed or printed. Thought to have been popularized in Wales in the 17th century, flannel was an all-wool fabric made of woolen or worsted yarns, with a brushed surface and a soft napped finish obscuring its weave. Flannel may be plain woven or twill woven and, today, most flannel fabrics are made of cotton fibers or synthetic rayon fibers that are slightly napped on both sides to resemble the old woolen or worsted yarn weaves. A wide range of flannel weights and textures is available. The fabric weight and quality of the napping affect the warmth and softness of the fabric. Many people prefer flannel bedding during the cold, winter months, but some flannel weights are appropriate in breatheability and comfort all year long.
History of the Region Portugal's major textile factories are located in Guimaraes. Guimaraes is known as the "cradle" or "birth city" of Portugal, since it is home to the castle of Portugal's first king. As one of the country's most historic cities with well-preserved monuments, it is a popular tourist attraction. Among other sites to see are two squares with outdoor cafes and balconied houses, called Praça de Santiago and Largo da Oliveira. At Largo da Oliveira is the old Town Hall and the Church of Nossa Senhora da Oliveira, with a Gothic shrine erected in 1340 standing before it. There are many legends about its origins, but a popular story says it marks the spot where Wamba, elected king of the Visigoths, refused his title and drove a pole into the ground swearing that he would not reign until it blossomed, and it sprouted immediately. Guimaraes hosts an annual 3-day festival of medieval art and costume in the first week of August, which dates from the middle of the 15th century and includes a torchlight procession and a medieval parade. Pinzon Diamond Matelasse Boudoir Sham, Cream Review

Pinzon Diamond Matelasse Boudoir Sham, Cream

This fabric (in cream) is exactly the same color as the photo. Creams and Ivories are always hard to purchase sight unseen, as the tones vary so much. This cream doesn't have too much yellow and the fabric is smooth and soft. It matches the Euro shams and coverlet perfectly, as well (as one would assume).
Just as a general FYI, this sham is only the cover...not the insert. I assumed that when I purchased it, but others may not know.

The Pinzon diamond matelasse boudoir sham gives your bed interesting depth and a satisfying quilted texture. Match the sham with Pinzon's Diamond Matelasse coverlet for a simply made bed, or mix it with the entire Hotel Banded, White Pleats and Ruffles, and Fleur Jacquard bedding collections for a great-looking, layered effect. Offered in six high-fashion colors, the sham accessorizes easily and helps to outfit any bedroom in the house. Expertly made in Portugal of 50 percent cotton and 50 percent polypropylene, the sham has a slight stretch. The boudoir sham measures 12 by 18 inches, plus a 2-inch border all around and has a side slit opening for pillows. It needs dry cleaning only for care. Matching standard, king, and Euro shams are available separately.

I bought these pillow covers to go along with Stylemaster Concord Center Motif Full Woven Bedspread, Green. They are great looking and a perfect match to the bed cover.
The only problem I had was, looking at the picture I had assumed this was for a set of pillow covers, but it is not. You get only a single pillow cover, so anyone ordering these had better put a few more in their cart!
Other than that, the pillow covers are a real compliment to the Bedspread, and if you get that you will probably want a set of these covers to go along with it.

While looking for new flannel sheets, the print on these caught my eye, and at $40 for a set of California King sheets, I figured it would be worth the gamble. The print goes across the bed rather than lengthwise, which was a surprise, but the overall look is very homey and cozy.
I was concerned that the sheets would shrink considerably after the first wash and dry - but no. In fact, they softened up beautifully and fit the large mattress perfectly. The flannel used in these sheets is excellent quality and left very little lint in the dryer screen. This is definitely a best buy.

I bought a set of shams along with the duvet cover for my parents as a gift since it's getting colder. If you buy the duvet cover you HAVE to purchase a set of shams as well... trust. You will not regret it if flannel is what you're looking for. What makes them so great is that they feel a tad stiff and soft at the same time, which serves to retain warmth. Great buy.

This soft, supple, Earth-friendly flannel sham is the perfect accessory to Pinzon's flannel sheets and duvets. Expertly made in Portugal with 160 grams of cotton per square meter, the superior-quality fabric begins with dyed yarns, so the patterning is woven through and appears on both sides. In addition, the flannel is infused with contrasting yarns to create a beautiful heathered effect and is lightly brushed for extra softness. The process used to craft Pinzon's heathered flannel makes use of cotton often thrown away in standard industrial production. In a standard spinning process, before the bales of raw cotton are transformed into yarns, there is always some raw cotton left over and thrown away. In our eco-friendly process, these leftovers are processed by color and grouped into bales that will be used to produce new heather yarns. Cotton that was wasted and thrown away is incorporated into the product again, making a more eco-friendly process and product.
Offered in a wide array of colors, the sham mixes and matches with other colors and patterns for a coordinated look. Peruse the wide variety of Pinzon flannel and yarn-dyed flannel bedding and velvet accessories to create a layered look with an ultra-soft feel.
