(More customer reviews)This quilt is just as attractive as shown in the picture. The quality is very good. There's no loose stitches or irregularities in the fabric. It's suitable for use as a bedspread, furniture throw cover, or light blanket. I bought it to use as a light blanket. For now it's being used as a bedspread on a full mattress, over a heavy comforter that will soon be put away for the summer. The shams add a nice touch. I've never been able to sleep without some kind of blanket. Sheets are too light and I don't like the feel of those fuzzy synthetic wool type fabrics. This is 100% cotton. Think of 2 cotton sheets with a little cotton filling in between. The stitching is so extensive there's no pockets for the filling to clump up in. Things I don't like is the product description as it seems to go out of its way to give the impression this isn't made in China. It is made in China. Fabric was a bit stiff and had a chemical odor when it arrived. Airing it out for 24 hrs didn't help much so I threw it in the wash with fabric softener. That took care of the stiffness and odor. There was no damage or fading using ordinary washing and tumble drying.
