I wanted something soft but lightweight enough for our north Florida summers (we keep the ac at 76 at night). This quilt has a nice circular pattern...not girly at all...and that has been hard to find. Quilt is soft and holds up to washing and drying (I wash about once a week). Blue is darker than in the online photo...more like a navy blue.
