I ended up spray painting it black and it looked a alot better. But overall I was pleased with this product. Its not too sturdy, but I expected that.

The pattern is much more appealing in than the photo appears. They hold a lot of clothing which is what I needed as my teenager had outgrown his hamper.

The first one that I received was broken and I had to send back, and I can see why, the wooden frame is made of cheap wood and probably wont break with the weight of baby clothes, but we'll see. (More customer reviews)PROS: (1) Wheels are really helpful when you don't want to carry it across flat surfaces (2) Very large! Easily holds a lot of clothes (3) Pouch is nice for holding quarters and dryer sheets (4) It has a nice portable design
CONS: (1) Awkward carrying it up and down stairs. I have to carry mine vertical by gripping upper part -- when I carried it with the stap around my back horizontally (which was not comfortable because of the weight), I hurt my knee because I had to pivot my foot with bag in front of me (3) Biggest downside: wheels tend to come off - one came off and I super glued it back. Same one came off but instead it broke off with the plastic and it wouldn't go back on. However, this was the center wheel so it was still fine. The next one that broke tore right out of the board. -- The wheels are attached to a piece of thick cardboard - not the greatest design. Shortly after that, the whole board tore off - it's attached by a thin layer of plastic. So this laundry basket last me roughly under a year and a half. I'm going to find a replacement that's hopefully a lot more sturdier and easier to carry up and down stairs.

(More customer reviews)I bought this hamper as a replacement for our first "My First ABC Hamper". We have the entire collection, so this is a "no-brainer" to add to the room. My only issue so far is that my son did his "sprinkler" thing, and got the hamper. I washed it, carefully following the directions and the hamper shrunk so badly I had to buy this second one to replace it. The quality is "okay", and the room is ADORABLE...just don't wash it.

Convenient is the key word to describe the hamper designed for the Enchanted Hollow collection from Eddie Bauer. The hamper is attractively styled in the color palette and woodland theme of the collection with a striped flap cover appliqued with sweet woodland animals and a chocolate brown dot pattern on the basket. The fabric is attached to a dark wooden frame. The hamper measures 16.5" wide by 27" tall and is 16" deep. It is a real timesaver and easy to use with a removable mesh bag that is suspended inside the hamper. The fabric of the mesh bag and hamper basket is a cotton polyester blend and can be machine washed in warm water in a gentle cycle, using only non-chlorine bleach when needed, and can be tumbled dried on a low setting. Carter's Forest Friends Hamper, Tan/Choc, 17 X 16 X 27" Review

(More customer reviews)I love this hamper's appearance & the whole Forest Friends line. However, it is really flimsy. The wood is on par with the cheap stuff at Ikea. I've only been using it for three months, but it has already warped some. I'm sure when my son can start walking he will easily break it apart. The fabric is fine but if I could go back, I would have registered for a plain, higher quality hamper because the wood is so poor.
