(More customer reviews)I just want to say...if you are on the fence about purchasing this memory foam mattress cover and the free pillows that come with it.....BUY IT!! Both of us are having the best sleep of our lives now. He has sleep apnea and I am a major insomniac that wakes up every 20 minutes. We bought this...and now (NO KIDDING) I don't wake up at all and he is waking up feeling VERY well rested. Heck....we are so comfortable that he has been late for work a lot lately. So, if you do get this...invest in a LOUD alarm clock!
As for back pain...I was in a severe car accident and have constant back pain. He had suddenly started getting back pain for no apparent reason. Once we got the mattress pad (memory foam), his back pain completely went away and mine is about 60% better.
Let me just say something quick about the pillows too....they are FABULOUS. We stored our old pillows away after one night on these memory foam pillows. We were quite pleasantly surprised with them. We THOUGHT they would just be crappy little free pillows that came with the expensive mattress cover....but NO.....they are quite thick and VERY comfortable. They do lose their shape every night...so we have to spend about 5 seconds per day putting them back into proper shape. Quite frankly, I don't mind that at all. THey are THE best pillows I ever laid my head on!
WHAT A GREAT DEAL! I AM A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE NOW!!! (And we figure...even if these only last a year before needing replaced, we don't care! We will just buy a new one every year if that is what it takes to stay sleeping this well.)
EVERYONE ON EARTH SHOULD HAVE THIS!!!

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a mattress topper for a twenty year old guest bed that my daughter complains about. I'll probably never sleep on it so I won't attempt to compare it to my $1500 Tempurpedic. I picked this particular manufacturer because the dimensions for some competitor's products for "full" size were smaller and closer to a "twin" size. Before I even received it I got a post card from All Sleep to contact them if there were any problems at all. Nice touch! After letting the pad decompress for several hours the first thing I noticed was that the advertised 2 inches was actually 1 3/4 inches. For some reason All Sleep uses the same measuring system as lumber. After reading reviews on similar products I was expecting to have to leave this pad in my garage to air out for several days but, in fact, this product had no detectable odor (to me). As for quality, it is not an especially dense memory foam but certainly adequate. Overall, the Soft Sleeper 5.5 appears to be a quality product. My daughter visited over the Christmas holiday and told me this mattress topper "made all the difference in the world"!

Down, real down, is the only way to go for the pillow you want to use every night as your "top" pillow (the one for your head and face). 700 fill power. But that is a luxury (as I now know); they cost, minimum, 5 times as much as these pillows.
That said, these are great feather pillows. The are excellent "bottom" pillows if you are a two pillow person. And they would be perfect stuffed into a big throw pillow cover for the couch or as a backrest for reading in bed. But they are not sleep pillows.
I offer this because reading the 5-star reviews make you think you've found the perfect pillows on the cheap. But they are feather pillows, so there are quills and little lumps that make them less than perfect. For the price, and with the caveat that they are not sleep pillows, I might make them 5-star. But this is the review I wish I had read before I bought them.

(More customer reviews)This is a great item. I found out about it on the "Baby Whisperer" forums. We have this hung on the side of my baby's crib where her feet can kick it (and start it) when she fidgets. Sometimes she will wake and start to fidget and when this comes on she settles right down and goes back to sleep. We also turn it on for her as part of our routine to signal that it is time to go to sleep. The first time we used it she was two weeks old and she wasn't settling down. When we turned it on she perked up, listened intently, and then practically melted into my shoulder! She went off to sleep pretty quickly after that.
It is a shame it only runs for five minutes, but I've found that my baby tends to kick it when it shuts off. We hear it run multiple times during the night also. If it didn't shut off after five minutes it would run the batteries out even quicker.
Ah yes, the great problem with this product.... We go through a set of four AAA batteries every three days with this! Thankfully we got ourselves some rechargeables, but even then you need two sets so one can charge while you use the other one.
I didn't find the silkie particulaly useful. Maybe when she is older she'll want it for something, but right now we can't put it close to her without it being a hazard and she doesn't seem to know it exists if it isn't very close. Perhaps other babies will be different.
The sound box is not very loud when it is inside the bear. We ended up taking it out and hanging it by it's velcro strip to the bear's arm so that it could be turned towards our baby.
A great feature of this product is that the sound becomes more and more faint as the battery dies. This way she can still hear it, but we know that the batteries need changing.
There is an on and off switch and a volume control knob.
In our house this has been very well worth the purchase price. Very worthwhile!

I wasn't that impressed with it until I actually used it. What a GREAT swaddle blanket. It is the only one we use! It's soft and big and has a little give in it so that we can swaddle tightly and feel comfortable about it. Also, the simplicity of its design (white) photographs well in the first weeks when the baby stayed swaddled most of the time and appeared in countless photos. I actually had to buy a second as soon as the first one needed to be washed because we couldn't swaddle her well in anything else and thus, we had a hard time putting her to sleep. This blanket was the staple of staple baby items used during our first month home with our new baby. I highly recommend it to any new parent.
