(More customer reviews)I bought this blanket and two other Baby Star blankets for my new grandbabies. These are the most luxurious blankets ever! I took the blankets to someone and had the names embroidered on the satin before giving them as a gift and I can't tell you how everyone at the shower loved the blankets. I recommend these blankets as a high end baby shower gift. Personally, I bought mine on sale on Amazon.com for $17 to $19 each. I am just sorry I didn't buy up the entire stock of the blankets when they were on sale.

(More customer reviews)Okay, I'm somewhat exaggerating, but this pillow is the BEST. Unlike the snoogle or other C-shaped pillows, this one is contoured to fit a pregnant woman's body. The rectangular part at the top serves as a regular pillow for your head, and the long part of it can go either behind you, down your back, or in front of you, depending on which way you lie. The long part is also contoured with a little "lip" that either fits perfectly into the small of your back or right above the pregnant belly, depending on which way you're facing. The curved part at the bottom goes between your thighs to keep your back aligned properly, and the curly little "tail" part goes under your body, either right above your hips or right at the top of your belly. Either way, your belly is cushioned and "cuddled" very comfortably.
I found out two years ago that I have no disc material in between my lowest vertebrae and am prone to back problems. I have been able to avoid back problems, after first throwing my back out very painfully two years ago, with physical therapy and exercise. But when I got pregnant, I was worried about how it would affect my back as I gained weight, since I'd had back pain during my first pregnancy. I started having back pain while sleeping about 8 weeks ago - but the first night I used this pillow (at 24 weeks), I had NO BACK PAIN at all! I wish I'd bought it sooner!
Also, unlike the snoogle, this product has a cover that has a long zipper on the longest side, so it is no problem to remove the cover and wash it. I've heard complaints about the cover for the snoogle, that it fits on like a sleeve and is therefore hard to remove to wash.
One more thing - I ordered this to be shipped regularly and the manufacturer delivered it to me the next day, so I was able to use it right away. I am very happy with this product. I may use it even after pregnancy!

(More customer reviews)I had to breast feed exclusively using the football hold for the first few months due to c-section; this pillow was my BEST option to do that. I spent weeks using other pillows in all shapes, but this pillow is perfectly curved and tapered to hug your hip. It provides an excellent elevated, angled and cozy platform for your baby to eat! It saves my back and shoulders. I place it next to me on the couch with the small end pointing at the back of the couch and place the large lobe on my knee. Since it is slightly tapered, it angles your baby into your breast so they don't roll away if they turn their head, a problem I had with regular pillows.
For traditional style feeding, in front of you on the lap, it works great too! I put my feet up on an ottoman or footrest to have a bit of elevation, place the large lobe of this pillow under the breast my daughter is going to eat from, and it angles her into the breast so she can be cozy and snug while nursing and I can have my hands free.
This would be a great shower gift for any gal, especially if she is going for a c-section! I like this shape so much better that the regular U-shaped one, two thumbs way up!
