(More customer reviews)I bought this basket for my granddaughter. My daughter lives in a two story house and I felt she needed something to lay my granddaughter in while downstairs. She has been very pleased with this product. In addition, when she comes to my house she can bring the basket with her. I have seen this same product for sale at twice the price, so I feel like I received double the product for 1/4 the price!
The seller had my basket delivered in a very timely manner, which is one thing that I truly appreciated. I am a last minute shopper.

Zanzibar - Basket Liner Review

(More customer reviews)The dimensions for these basket liners are 11" x 17" x 7" and the decoration is across the 'short' end or what would be the 'width' of your basket. The decoration is a small version of the turtle, elephant, and monkey from the Zanzibar theme and is embroidered, not printed, onto the fabric just like the rest of the line. Because the ties you use to secure the edge of the liner around the basket are drawstrings I was able to use the liners in smaller baskets with just a little folding and gathering. The corner ties are only located on the front (short end/width) of the liners. The fabric part that goes inside the basket is quilted and is 65% polyester 35% cotton. It is the brown and cream check print just like the Zanzibar sheet set. The liners are machine washable. Apparently they will fit the "Kids Line" brand wicker baskets which come in white or pecan - sold separately in sets of three. I didn't buy these because I've heard from several mothers that they have sharp edges and will scratch anything they come in contact with -- your furniture or even your baby! Each liner package will only contain one basket liner. They are cute and compliment the rest of the Zanzibar line well.

(More customer reviews)This basket is one of my favorite things I have for my baby. It has plenty of room for the baby to grow and still use it with out being too large. My son is 2 months old (12lbs) and will still use it for a few more months. He loves the coziness and prefers to sleep in it over his crib. I have been setting it right into his crib and it works perfect. I originally bought it to take with us on long trips but we use it every day at home as well as when we go to church or out to friends. It is beautiful, simple, but very elegant. One of my handles is starting to break on one side but considering that I bought it at a garage sale and she said she used it for more than one baby I'd say its well made. My husband and I have been very happy with this basket and would buy another if need be. It would make an awesome shower present.

I was very happy with the quality of the basket, but thought the material used for the lining and blanket was a little cheap. The material for the blanket was really stiff and hard. It was almost like a changing pad.

I think if I was going to buy one again I might go for one that had cushioned hand grips as when the basket is very full it can be quite sore to carry. But that aside, it's a fairly standard white laundry basket. Decent price for what you get.

My only problem with it is that while the liner always looks as pictured, the basket itself seems to vary widely in color. So, if it's important that you have all the same color of basket you'll want to make sure to order all that you want at once and from the same retailer.

(More customer reviews)Very pleased with this Moses basket. I bought it as a gift for a very dear and very picky friend. I know she will love it and it looks like it will wear well (through-out the time the baby can fit in it anyway). I used a Moses basket everyday for the first 3mo of my kids life and by the time we were done with it, it was thrashed! Mine was one of the cheaper options with a detachable hood (which i rarely attached, it didn't work well and wasn't needed). Also, this Tadpoles model is quite a bit longer than I remember mine being.

(More customer reviews)I bought this basket for our new baby girl. We have been using it for 5 weeks and I love it! I would definitely buy it again. This is a nice item for the price.
Here are the pros and cons of this basket -
Pros:
- Light and easy to carry up and down the stairs.
- It takes up very little room, I set it on a cedar chest next to the bed.
- I didn't have a problem when I washed the liner and sheet in the machine. Maybe using a delicate/handwash cycle would help.
- The sheets we used in a regular bassinet fit in this just fine.
- The pad is quite thick.
Cons:
- The handles are twisted. I think this was due to the way it was packaged for shipping. It does not affect the usability.
- The ribbon that holds the liner in place has come off several times, including in the wash. It does not appear to be attached with much thread. I just reattached them with more/thicker thread.
- The liner around the head of the basket sags into the basket and gets in my daughter's face. Adding two ribbons at the top to attach it to the basket would fix this.

The bedding is just as adorable and seems to be sturdy. obviously it is not meant to TOTE baby around in, but to have something extra to take with you at a friends, event etc.. so baby can sleep.. this is great without the bulkiness of a stroller. I was worried it would be pretty small and seem more like a toy than something you would you for your baby, but that is not the case, it is definitely roomy and well made. The hood attaches by velcro so its nota pain in the neck to come off or put back on. That being said, when it is on..it does stay on.

The construction and aesthetics of this basket are great. We love the dark brown color and the removable visor or bonnet. Whatever you like to call it. It fits great in our new moses basket rocker. It is also really easy to maneuver being that it is light weight as well.

(More customer reviews)The moses basket looks nice and is useful for naps as well as setting the baby down in a safe place, near where I am. The bumper seemed a little difficult to put on, but I am happy with it now that it is on. My only significant complaint is that the blue mattress cover shrank in the wash (washed according to instructions) and I am not able to use it. However, I purchased the "Moses Basket Sheet Cotton - Color White" from Amazon, and those work well.
