The bedding is just as adorable and seems to be sturdy. obviously it is not meant to TOTE baby around in, but to have something extra to take with you at a friends, event etc.. so baby can sleep.. this is great without the bulkiness of a stroller. I was worried it would be pretty small and seem more like a toy than something you would you for your baby, but that is not the case, it is definitely roomy and well made. The hood attaches by velcro so its nota pain in the neck to come off or put back on. That being said, when it is on..it does stay on.
