I must admit that when I received it, the word 'damaged' was labelled on it and parts of the plastic encasement was taped up to cover areas that were ripped. Because this was not sent to me directly, but was sent to an address and then forwarded to me, I cannot be certain where the damage occurred. Considering everything inside was in tact, I decided that I would keep it. I love the finish and all the pieces that came in the bag. The quality of the sheets are very exceptional. I ampleased with the purchase. It makes the bed look rich and stately.
