(More customer reviews)I needed a coverlet for my goose down comforter and this was perfect. I have a California King bed but the king size worked perfectly and covers completely. It's not heavy at all though it's well made, sturdy but very soft fabric and the print is not overwhelming at all. I got the vermillion color and although it's very attractive, I really wanted something more red than orange. The vermillion is a very muted yet rich ' cream of tomato soup' color and not nearly as dark as the picture indicates. If you're looking for more red, get the Tomato color or the Cranberry color. I'm going to also get this in the ecru color. I also purchased the pillows and they are absolutely fantastic, large and very beautiful. I really must say that they are a great bargain for the quality. You can also view these bedding items on the Williamsburg store website but I preferred to purchase from Amazon.com.
I also got some of the green pillows and they are also very beautiful but these are more a spring time green and not as dark.
If you like Colonial color schemes you can't go wrong with any of these colors, mixing or matching and they are a great value that will last many years.
