(More customer reviews)I purchased this mattress pad about 3 weeks ago based on the very good reviews on this website. Even though there were no reviews which talked about how much padding this particular pad actually provided, I decided to take a chance.
Let me start by saying that I agree that this pad fits very well over our current mattress (in fact, our mattress apparently was quite thin, so adding the pad on top helped our sheets fit a bit better) and the material it is made of seems like it would hold up pretty well in the washing machine.
Unfortunately, this pad is not very thick. In fact, I would argue that it's very hard to tell the difference when this pad is attached to the mattress.
Overall, for the price, it's not horrible. But if you are buying a pad looking for a boost in comfort, I would recommend that you look a little more, or at least try to find this product in a retail store so you can see what I mean for yourself.
