I was sick and tired of having my feet stick out of my IKEA comforter and this one is much better, very generously sized on my queen bed (I have a hard time imagining how it would work on a full size bed, honestly). One note, being slightly oversized meant finding a duvet cover to fit it was a bit tricky; I finally found a Charter Club duvet cover in a queen that's only 2 inches narrower and fits fine but for a while it looked like I might have to get a king size cover for it. It's light and fluffy, looks well made with sturdy fabric and good quilting and in western Washington in May it's been perfect for us sleeping with the windows open at night, not too warm and not too cool (I think we'll have to put it away for the summer in another couple weeks though). With a thermal cotton blanket under it and maybe a light coverlet over I think it will be fine all winter.

(More customer reviews)First of all, I have to say that I am once again impressed with Amazon Prime and shipping times. I ordered this yesterday around 8AM and it arrived today at 10AM.
Second, about the comforter itself, it's really nice and I don't think you can beat it for the price. In fact, it seems to be the exact same comforter that is listed by Amazon in a separate listing in a queen size for more. I wanted to add that in addition to the features listed by Amazon (300 three count, 100% cotton sateen shell, baffled box construction, 30oz of down in the twin size [40 for queen/full, 50 in the king]), this is a 600 fill power down comforter. You really can't do much better than that, esp for this price. It has a nice feel to it, the cover is soft. I don't feel any feathers and no weird smell or anything like that. The tag says it's minimum 75% sterilized down and dry clean only. I will probably try to machine wash it anyway as I have always machine washed our down comforters. It hasn't been used yet (it's for the guest bed), but I will come back if there are any drawbacks or anything else to add to the review.

(More customer reviews)I received this product within one week of ordering and I was surprised at how beautiful it is in person. It is more than worth the money. The comforter is not heavy but it is warm and the sheets and pillowcases feel nice against the skin. I don't know how it will hold up after a few washings but if I get 6 months out of them, then it was definitely worth the money. Wash with cold, do not use a lot of detergent, use fabric softener and dry on low heat to make the color and fabric last longer.

It gets a little too warm in the summer months, but it keeps you warm and comfy in the winter months. The feathers tend to keep our bdrm furniture dusty, but we eliminated that by adding a duvet cover. Love this item. I'm thinking about purchasing one for the guest bdrm as well.

The colors are vivid and pretty. The only thing is that the shams are not as pictured here with a pink border. So, just be aware of that. However, the shams that did come with my duvet set are just perfect for me so I have no complaints. I've washed it several times and it's still as bright and colorful as the day I bought it. The comforter is soft not scratchy, still its a bit noisy, not loud enough to wake this light-sleeper. The border on the comforter is like a soft nylon rope I assume this helps keep the feathers inside. The product does not look like the picture shown, it has smaller squares with a stripped look. In Oregon our summer days can be 103 and nights as cool as 63, this is no problem for me this comforter does well to keep me cool and comfortable.

Smartsilk's duvets were recommended from the asthma and allergy friendly website and since I was suffering so badly with breathing at night, I purchased a new Queen duvet. I don't like an especially heavy duvet and I like one that breathes, so I had delayed this purchase for awhile not being able to find the perfect duvet.

(More customer reviews)Just received mine today. The tag on the comforter states minimum 75% down. That leaves 25% FEATHERS. What a disappointment to discover this after reading the product description carefully BEFORE I made my purchase.
If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. This comforter proves the rule.
FEATHER/down combination comforters do NOT maintain their loft--they tend to flatten out after minimal use. They also do not have the same luxury feel as 100% down.
Feathers in the comforters make noise. I tried one of the feather and down combination comforters on our bed and my husband who NEVER notices anything asked why the comforter was making noise! Down is silent when you roll over or adjust the covers.
The outer covering on this comforter is nice at 410 thread count.
This is just another warm blanket, not a luxury down comforter. The label on the comforter package clearly states: BASIC BEDDING.
The less expensive down and feather combination comforters sold on amazon have the SAME fill, so unless you want the 410 thread count cover on a feather/down combination comforter, save your money and buy the less expensive product.
I will be returning this product and searching for a 100% down comforter. We've had the real thing for years and the feather/down combination comforters just don't measure up.

My biggest gripe has to be the sheets.These sheets are awful.
