(More customer reviews)This is a really nice, well built, sturdy bed. A pillowtop mattress is a little tall for it, but I prefer comfort over looks. Assembly was easy. It is an attractive piece, and it is very large as the description states.
My only complaint was the shipping. The shipping company, Anyware Express (not misspelled), delivered the bed in 2 boxes, one of which had a hole in it, I discovered long after the delivery person had gone. When we opened it, one of the side panels had a crack in it. Amazon was very understanding and promised a replacement with no problem. Unfortunately, it took another 2 weeks to get it due to the large size of the product. The shipping company called to schedule a time to deliver the product, and confirmed that they would arrive between 11 am and 2 pm on a Thursday. I went to a great deal of trouble to arrange to be home for that window only to find that they did not arrive within the window. In fact, they were late and did not arrive until over 3 hours after the latest arrival time. Fortunately, the furniture was not damaged this time but I certainly was irritated. Overall, Amazon was great to deal with, and the bed is great. The shipping company was not the best, but that ia all in the past now and I do have my bed.
