(More customer reviews)I purchased this pillow cover from Amazon after realizing that every time we switched out our synthetic comforter in the summer for our down comforter in the winter, I woke up with a badly swollen face and eyes. A visit to an allergist confirmed an allergy to dust mites. I purchased Allersoft's matching duvet cover, and three pillow covers. This cover is soft like it promises. There's NO crinkly sounds at all. It feels just like super tightly woven cotton. The true test of it's worth is that it's been three months now, and no swollen face and eyes in the morning. If they make a mattress cover, I'm in for that next. :) I gave the same review for their duvet covers, and I'm saying this so people don't think this is a paid review! (Really, paid reviewers are scum, it ruins a great tool for the rest of us!) Oh, PS: I'm thinking that heeding the manufacturers instructions on not washing these often is good advice. I would think that would loosen the weave. I'm using them under another duvet cover, and under pillowcases.
