(More customer reviews)Over the past several years we have owned two scales with BMI features, both of which simply stopped working within months. Most recently, we have been using a scale that requires an initial toe tap. It was never fully consistent, and eventually we would have to way ourselves three or four times to get a single weight to read out more than once. I decided to search for a new scale and decided to get this one because of the reviews at Amazon and elsewhere...and the reasonable price.
So far, the scale has worked perfectly every time. It's larger than we're used to, but if that's part of the secret for creating an accurate scale, then I've got no problem with it. It's also fast - the scale doesn't take more than about two seconds determining the correct weight. My wife was even impressed that the unit shipped with batteries that are better than the typical ones that die within a few weeks or months. Granted, we've only had the scale a little over a week, but so far we're greatly impressed and completely satisfied.
