(More customer reviews)I was a little apprehensive about buying this bed because I couldn't see it up close and there were no customer reviews. I liked the design so much, I decided to try it out. I am so glad I took the plunge! This is a great bed. The overall quality is great and my husband says the actual mattress frame part is very high quality. The bed looks just like the picture, no surprises. It is very sturdy. The only note I have is that it is pretty low to the floor, so there is not much space for storage. This worked out great for me because I have an overstuffed mattress with a pillow top. It fits the bed perfectly. As for the color, it's black with a sort of brownish, goldish tint. It's hard to describe, but looks good. It gives the bed an old antique look, which is what I was hoping for. If you want a whimsical looking, well-made bed, get this one!
