I have bought throws in the past, but found them to be poorly made, did little to keep one warm or most did not launder well. Then to make things even more disappointing after a few washings they simply pilled up or stretch out of shape. You will not be disappointed in this throw, it is worth every penny they are asking! I have washed and put these throws in the dryer countless times, and there are no signs of wear or pillage. It seems to get softer with every wash. They have specials all the time at Macy's, and they have these at the same price currently in their store. Macy's does not offer free shipping always though and amazon will with 100.00 or more.
If you are lucky enough to live close to a Macy store then by all means pick one up there, but this is a great alternative for those of us that are not close to a store.
Buy several, because once your kids feel the softness and warmth you will never get to use it! They are perfect for movie night on those cold wintery evenings, or just for cozying in a chair for a good read.
