The hooks that allow you to connect the hangers vertically are a little short and small, so they are not as versatile as similar cascading hangers. With some of the other hangers from other companies, you can actually hang two hangers on the hook on the hanger - a good option for lightweight pieces of clothing. You can't do that with these, but the hooks probably protrude a little less because of this. The shirt hangers provided in this set are smaller than the suit hangers, so they would be better-suited for small to medium-sized women or teen clothing or lightweight camisoles or sleeveless shirts. The suit hangers are the same size as similar cascading hangers. The clips for hanging skirts and pants are a great feature and they don't come with similar hangers. The flocking on the hangers is of a good quality and a great way to keep your clothing neat because clothing clings to the velour flocking material. You will have to decide if you want the options of two different types and sizes of hangers. If you want all larger-sized hangers, then you can check online for cascading hangers, but you will pay more and have to purchase a larger quantity unless you can find them in your local TJMaxx store as I did.
