(More customer reviews)These bricks expand A LOT. I put four of them in a five gallon bucket and filled it with water. The bricks expanded so much after just a day that the bucket was square instead of round. Then I had to really pry them out. Note to others--don't do what I did. Just put two bricks upright in the bucket, then fill with water. I've used this as mulch to mix in with my vermicomposting. I've also used this to repot certain orchids.
