(More customer reviews)I just purchased this daybed for an office. I expect it to be my "guest bed" as well as a place to sit/nap in the office. I sometimes put in very long days and while not leaving the office is depressing,I need to get things done. As such I had decided to "splurge" on an attractive bed. This one was a great deal, the cheapest daybed you can find (outside goodwi11) is going to be $200, and then you will need to pay $100 for the link spring (the support that attached to the frame to hold the mattress). So for a little more I got this great bed, way under budget. It is very solid and attractive. There were some wavy welding lines on the back on one side, but I assumed it was supposed to be the side that went toward the wall, and it is out of sight, out of mind now ;). It was very easy to put together, and the componants are light. I (a medium sized female, who never claimed to be a bodybuilder, but am healthy) was able to take the pieces upstairs up a very narrow staircase and lift them over the stairwell wall at the top in a narrow hallway by myself, so you can probably get them anywhere in the house. I was able to put it together by myself without too much effort(make sure you don't tighten down any of the bolts till all are put in 4-5 turns) but it would have really easy to put together with 2. I love the look of the bed and it seems really solid. Other comments, I love the bed as is, but it is a powder coat paint on metal, so it is a dark expresso as they say. Meaning it looks like expresso, black with brown undertones. If you think it will be a dark oak color you will be disappointed. I love this bed.

Rich with geometric beauty, this visually spectacular daybed combines urban chic with classic structure to dazzling results. The unit's low-profile silhouette provides a comfortable backrest without overwhelming or obstructing low-hanging artwork and other surrounding accents, while its luscious, coffee-colored finish softens its angular design to create a warm, inviting haven. Inset with elongated vertical rectangles that link to one another and to the surrounding frame with squared connecting points, the bed's sturdy metal construction artfully complements a variety of plush or simple bedding and pillows. Furthermore, its tall, post-style legs raise it high enough off the ground to accommodate a trundle (sold separately) beneath for space-saving convenience. Equipped with a link spring frame that accommodates a twin-size mattress (sold separately), the daybed requires some assembly and measures approximately 78-1/2 inches wide by 38-3/5 inches deep by 38 inches tall.
