It's nice to have something that will actually cover his toes when he's stretched out on the sofa. However, I wouldn't recommend it for bed linens - it's quite thin and won't do much to keep you very warm at night. Having said that, it kept its color and shape/size in the wash, didn't pill up, and is appropriately sized, so you really can't ask for more at this price.
