Since the owner's guide was missing, I went to the Kolcraft site and downloaded one. While there one can find information about this bassinet and others as well as a FAQ feature.
Since we didn't come close to paying full price, we certainly can't complain about this full-featured bassinet. For review purposes I'll pretend we paid a hundred dollars for our Kolcraft Bassinet. Our little grandson has no idea we didn't pay full price.

This is not the most substantial of bassinets and should be handled gently. It's metal support legs include plenty of plastic parts. Mrs.Spudman broke off a clamp by being a little too rough.
The plastic wheels are OK, and aren't the smoothest rolling wheels you'll ever used. I find it easier to just pick up the bassinet (babyless, of course) and move it.
Batteries can wear down fast if one uses the battery powered features often. We think battery replacement is worth the price of admission.
The bassinet is generously sized with a 30" by 15" sleeping area. The "mattress" is very thin, so Mrs. Spudman or the Spudette just puts something like a blanket under it. Otherwise the two metal support bars can be felt through it.
We really like the soft light, the vibration option, and the sounds. They are very nice though one of the vocals is not the greatest. Your baby won't notice or care.
Storage underneath is very convenient for powder, lotions, diapers, Potato Heads, etc.
Mrs. Spudman assembled the unit in no time despite not having a set of directions.
Overall this is a nice unit than can be a lifesaver when a restless baby is fighting sleep. It should have a useful life of 3-4 months. The Kolcraft Light Vibes Bassinet is certainly worth considering.
