The print goes across the bed rather than lengthwise, which was a surprise, but the overall look is very homey and cozy.
I was concerned that the sheets would shrink considerably after the first wash and dry - but no. In fact, they softened up beautifully and fit the large mattress perfectly. The flannel used in these sheets is excellent quality and left very little lint in the dryer screen. This is definitely a best buy.
