I am using it for my guest bedroom and wanted an elegant shabby chic look without spending a ton of money. It is perfect. The weight has a good feel to it; it is not too light/thin and seems to be well made. I haven't washed it yet and will update this review if it shreds after washing.
I will mention this... the color of the flowers look like a solid dusty rose/pink from the image online. HOWEVER, after receiving the package I would say they are more peachy than pink... which is fine for my needs. But I wished I had waited to match sheets until after I got the quilt and seen the peachy color instead of the solid dusty pink rose I had thought it was. There are actually two different colors in the flowers... a peach center with a pink trim... and the overall look it gives is more peachy/salmon instead of a dusty rose/pink.
The sage green of the vines is more accurate... and the background of the quilt itself is a perfect shade of ivory...not white, not vanilla... but ivory.
My mother is visiting and she found the quilt really nice as well.
It arrived quickly and packaged well.
