(More customer reviews)Zilla Alfalfa Reptile Bedding is my preferred reptile bedding because it is bacteriostatic. It reduces bacteria growth in the tank and reduces tank odors from developing. It is safe for reptiles and will not upset them if digested. Recently Zilla changed the size of the particles, making them larger. I did prefer the smaller ones but the larger ones work just as well for adult reptiles. I wouldn't use the new larger size particles for a baby reptile, however.
