I realize this review is somewhat lengthy, but I wanted to be as specific as possible in order to assist any prospective buyer. As you can see from the pictures, this sheet set is black in color with a thin white pinstripe pattern running vertically down the one fitted and one flat sheet, and horizontally across the two pillow cases. This sheet set is of a contemporary style, which was the style type for which I was in search of. From what I can recall, I was able to locate only one other sheet set with this look. Although it was designed and manufactured by the same company/brand, but it was of a different and lower thread count. To the best of my knowledge, I believe the same seller of this item also sells the sheet set of the lower thread count.
Perhaps I should have purchased that sheet set with the lower thread count because I don't think there would be much difference between it and this 1200 TC, 100% Egyptian Cotton TC set. I have never owned a sheet set of 1200 TC and/or Egyptian Cotton TC, but I can sincerely state that I am not very impressed with it. That does not mean, however, that this sheet set is not comfortable; it really is - I just don't think it is or might be all that better than a sheet set that has a lower TC and is therefore more economically viable.
Regardless of which sheet set you choose to purchase, this particular seller will offer expedited shipping, a reasonable shipping and handling charge, excellent communication, and a competitive price point.
As I stated in the beginning of this review, I purchased this sheet set on April 29, 2010. It is still as comfortable and of durable, full material now as it was then. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for something that looks great and can match just about any contemporary decor purchase this sheet set. In addition, if you want something that feels more comfortable than a sheet set of a standard TC, then go for either this product or the one of the high, but less TC; there might not be much difference in the feeling, but there may be a difference in the price.
