(More customer reviews)For years, we wanted to try 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, but could never justify the price -- typically $300 or more at Macy's. These sheets are wonderful, very luxurious, soft, and comfy. They have been through the washing machine twice, and are wearing very well. They are definitely twice as comfy as our 600 TC sheets and absolutely no comparison with our 300 TC sheets. We are now completely spoiled and will never go back. I wanted a solid color that was not available, so got the ones with the stripe. I found I like the stripe better as it looks more high fashion and professional -- more of the luxury hotel look.
