I am petite and primarily a side sleeper and sometimes wish it were just a little bit thicker. It is a great back sleeper. If you are a larger person looking for a side sleeper, the firm or extra firm version of this pillow would probably suit you better. It has a stiff cotton cover, but sleeps very nicely. You can find these at a great price. The pillow is hypoallergenic and does not cause me stuffiness. It is not a pillow you can squish into whatever shape you want, but it's very comfortable as it is. Recommended.
