(More customer reviews)This is a lovely blanket. The one we received is a much brighter green than the picture here - somewhere between apple and kelly, I'd say. It's very pretty.
As to performance, the only caution I'd give is that I wouldn't want this right up against my skin all night. It's wool, after all, and is a bit scratchy. However, with a sheet in between, this is a real winner. It is so wonderfully warm - you can really feel heat start to radiate back at you within a couple minutes. And yet it is quite lightweight and not bulky.
This also makes it fantastic in the washer and dryer. After finishing a spin cycle, it feels almost dry to the touch, and one quick dryer cycle leaves it perfectly dry and ready to use. So much easier than trying to jam a "washable" comforter into the machines, only to have damp spots stubbornly remain. With my dust mite allergy, it's a real pleasure to have such an easily washable, yet warm, blanket.
