(More customer reviews)Lambs and Ivy has produced a lovely lamp for your little pilot's room. It coordinates perfectly with their bedding set and other products. However, it would be a fine addition to the room of any child interested in airplanes and flying.
I rated this item as four stars rather than five for the following reasons. The lamp has only an on-off switch; I would have preferred a three way switch. The airplane is painted wood and is nicely done, except that the wood grain has not been filled in. Thus, the surface, particularly on the propellars looks and feels somewhat rough. The airplane is not stationary, but moves when bumped. Since there is a shadow of the plane painted on the base, if the plane has moved the shadow's position is incorrect.
This is a somewhat pricey nice-to-have item for your child's room. If your little one is transfixed by airplanes, then that child will be delighted with this lamp.
