The comforter is large enough to fit the ample size mattress that I have, likewise the pillow sham is generous in size and fits my fat "Bobopedic" pillow. I like the black gingham ruffles with the parade of ladybugs moving along the white stripes in between. The addition of the valance was a nice surprise, too. It makes the room look more finished.
A suggestion: Please make this valance available as a separate package (if you have not already done so) for customers who have more than one window in their bedroom.
