(More customer reviews)This is a VERY EARLY review - I received the Sheex yesterday and have only slept on them for one night.
Background: I usually sleep on 800+ thread count sheets all the time. That just means I tried high-thread-count sheets a few years ago and decided I liked them - a lot. I got my first 1000 TC set at Sam's Club for $79. I gave my grandmother a set for her bed, and she does not sleep on anything else now. My mom and sister also received high TC sheets from me, and they love them also. So I know about good sheets.
I wanted to try the Sheex after I heard about them, because I sleep in Phoenix and it can get sweaty at night. Sheex say that their sheets help the sleeper stay cooler at night by transferring heat from your body into the sheets 2X better than cotton. This helps reduce your body temp and therefore helps you sleep better and deeper.
First Impressions: They have a very "slick" feel - almost like satin. They have a good "stretchiness" to them also. I sleep under a 54" ceiling fan on high every night, so I was worried that the Sheex would be too thin to keep the air off me - but I was WRONG. They stopped the air just as well as the 1000 TC sheets I had been using before last night. Pleasant surprise.
They say that you need a few nights to adjust to them and really get adapted to them. I'll give it that time.
But after night one, I can say all was great. High marks for Sheex. I might come back later and change the rating to 5 stars, but for now, I just don't know enough to go higher than 4.
