The side with flowers actually has a soft chocolate background and on the website pictures it looks almost burgundy in color. The set seems very well made and I plan on using the flower side of the bumper for a girl and the striped side for a boy. The embroidery on the flower side is very detailed and soft to touch. The stripes are perfect for a boy with turquoise, orange and green. If you have a girl the stripes just compliment the flowers. Great purchase and can't wait for my baby to sleep in it!
