It absorbs very well, which reduces the amount of litter that needs to be wasted. My guinea pigs also love the softness of the litter..... they pile it up in the corner to sleep on it! It is by far, the best litter I have used in terms of odor control and absorption. My fiancée (who doesnt like my piggies) even said that they smell less with this litter! Its a must for small animal lovers!
