(More customer reviews)We purchased this mattress protector for my toddler's bed as it was recommended highly by the mattress vendor. However, it leaked badly when he had an accident in his bed and we ended up with a very wet mattress. We called the company to report the defective mattress protector and they put us through an extensive process of collecting information from the protector, faxing in multiple documents, designating the leaky areas of the protector and finally shipping it back to them. We then received a call from Protect-a-bed and said that they concluded that YES- the protector we had was indeed leaky (gee thanks!) but it was user error and NOT a manufacturer defect so they are not responsible! The customer service agent told me that we must not have followed the directions to wash and dry it properly which cause the protective barrier to warp. I responded that we had not even washed it prior to putting it on his bed so it could not have been our fault. Anyhow- I definitely do not recommend purchasing from this company as they do not have a quality product nor do they honor their warranty.
