(More customer reviews)The cork flooring is thin, about a 1/2 inch, not 1mm as another reviewer states,but it serves our purposes just fine. We use it to surround the wood floors around our bed. It's a warm place to put our feet when we get up and out of bed. It also allows the dog and cat to walk virtually unheard as their nails would typically tap on the wood floors very loudly. It also provides a great jumping off point for the animals as leaping off or onto the wood floor proved quite tricky for the dog more so than the cat. I think our dog Barkley is the one most thrilled with this cork tile product.
