The quality appears great and the colors were exactly as they were shown in the photo. I have only washed it once as my baby is not born yet, but all parts of the set looked just like new out of the washer and dryer as did not fade, pill, etc. This set is very cute, feminine but not over the top girly which is exactly what I was looking for in the crib bedding for the nursery.
