(More customer reviews)I have raised small animals for along time. I also used to manage a pet store. Pine is the most dangerous substrate for small animals. The dust causes respiratory problems, that causes your animals to cough up and sneeze blood. I have found in the animals that I have rescued that have this ailment seem to get better when I switch them over to Carefresh bedding. I HIGHLY recommend using it, it also highly reduced the odor that it caused by urine. The other benefits are: you little friend will be more comfortable sleeping on something soft, and it is much easier to clean!
